ARTICLE 5 – Trip Designer FAQ: Common Questions & Issues

Quick answers to the most frequent questions about using Trip Designer on KOOB.

1. Why can’t I add two Programs on the same day?

Trip Designer is designed so one Program defines each travel day.
If you try to add two full‑day Programs on the same date, the system will block it because the combination is unrealistic.

Tip:

  • Use one full‑day Program and add Activities inside it, or

  • Use a Free Day at Leisure and combine half‑day Activities where allowed.


2. How do I change the order of days?

You can usually drag and drop days or adjust your travel dates (depending on your KOOB version). If dragging is not available:

  1. Remove the Program from the day you want to change.

  2. Add the correct Program on the new day.

  3. Re‑add the Activities.

If this feels complex, save your draft and ask your Easia consultant to adjust it.


3. Can I request a different guide language?

Yes, in many cases.

  • By default, Programs include an English‑speaking guide for included activities.

  • Some Programs offer additional languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, etc.) as an option or supplement.

If you don’t see your language:

  • Add a note in the Conversations session, or

  • Send your draft to Easia and specify the language you need.
    We will confirm availability and any price supplements.


4. Why is a certain combination not allowed?

Trip Designer uses a compatibility logic to keep your itinerary realistic. A combination may be blocked because:

  • The travel time between two destinations is too long for the same day.

  • You are trying to connect Programs that start and end in different cities.

  • Two Short Packages overlap in dates or destinations.

If you are unsure, send us your draft itinerary. Our team can adjust Programs while keeping the same general idea.


5. Are flights always included in Transition Programs?

Not always.

Some Transition Programs include the ground services only (hotel → airport transfers, etc.). Flights may be added as a separate item or arranged by your own agency.

Always check the inclusion list of each Transition Program.


6. What if I need to change dates after building my trip?

If your dates change:

  1. Update your travel dates in KOOB (if possible in your version).

  2. Review each Program to ensure it is still available and compatible.

  3. Re‑check hotel availability, especially for Live Inventory and Allotment hotels.

If the system does not allow you to change dates easily, send us your saved itinerary and we will rebuild or adjust it.


7. Who can I contact if I get stuck?

If you face technical issues or are unsure which modules to choose:

  • Reach out directly to your Easia Travel consultant.
