ARTICLE 2 – How to Build an Itinerary with Trip Designer (Step by Step)
This article shows you exactly how to build a full itinerary in Trip Designer, from first login to confirm the booking.
1. Start a New Trip

Log in to KOOB.

Go to Design a Trip.

Choose:
-
Country: Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, or Japan
-
DMC name: Easia Travel Vietnam, Easia Travel Laos, Easia Travel Cambodia, Easia Travel Thailand, or Easia Travel Japan
-
Departure date
-
Trip duration (number of days)
-
Number of travelers (adults/children)
-
-
Click Continue to open your empty itinerary.
2. Add Your Arrival Program

In the trip timeline, select your first day.

In the Program suggestions, search for an Arrival Program in the city where you land (for example, “Arrival in Hanoi (without guide)”).

Click to view details, then click Add to trip.
Tips
-
If you want guide assistance at the airport, choose a version with guide or add the guide as an optional extra (if available).

Each new city or country should start with an Arrival Program where possible.
3. Add Programs for the Following Days
For each new day:

Click the day in your itinerary.

Browse or search for a suitable Program, such as:
-
Sightseeing Program (for example, “Hanoi – Old Quarter – Cyclo Tour”)
-
Transition Program (for example, “Hanoi to Hue (by flight)”)

Free Day at Leisure
-
Short Package Program (2D1N / 3D2N), where available

Notes
-
Some Short Packages automatically fill several days. Your calendar will update to show the covered dates.

Use Transition Programs for every major move between cities or countries.
4. Add Optional Activities
After choosing a Program:

Click the Program in your itinerary to open it.

Scroll to the Activities section.
-
Select any Activities you want to add (tours, experiences, evening options).
-
Confirm your choices.
Rules to remember

Some Programs allow one full‑day Activity or two half‑day Activities.
-
After selecting Activities, you can also choose an optional guide supplement for those Activities (if applicable).
-
If a selected combination is not possible, the system will notify you.
5. Add a Departure Program
On your final day in each city or at the end of your trip:

Go to the last day in your itinerary.
-
Choose a Departure Program from that city (for example, “Departure from Phnom Penh (without guide)”).
-
Add it to your trip.
This ensures your transfers to the airport or station are correctly handled.
6. Review Prices, Inclusions, and Languages
Once your itinerary is complete:

Review each Program and Activity.
-
Check:
-
Inclusions and exclusions
-
Language of the guide (usually English by default)
-
Any supplements for other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, etc.)

If you need a different language and don’t see it, add a note in your request or contact your Easia Travel consultant.
7. Draft, Template, or Finalize the trip
At the top or bottom of the Trip Designer page, you can:

Save your trip as a draft.
-
Save your trip as a templatev( for the next us )
-
Finalize your trip when you are ready to request a booking.
